Illustration Friday: Under The Sea

This Illo was done my senior year in college (2002) and it was part of my senior art show. I was obsessed with Clowns at the time and did a whole series of clowns doing crasy activities. This one was the biggest one I did. It was done in illustration board and acrylics. Took me about a month to complete. The actual size of this piece is approx. 21" x 33". The biggest illustration piece i have ever done. It was fun to paint that big and I will definitelly do it again sometime.

B-day Card for Amie

I designed a birthday card for my friend Amie.
I thought sice the bday plans were for dinner and skating, I wanted to base the card on the activities.
And what's skating without your IPOD!!!!

I have to thank my boyfriend for being the inspiration for this image.
He is definitelly a kid at heart and I dedicate this to him.

My upcoming website

For my opening page I am going to make each letter of my name as a link.
I attached the black and white sketch of the original layout.
here is the first letter I just finished coloring. If anybody has any constructive criticism I would really appreciate it.
Now I'm off to letter #2....letter "O". Whish me luck.

I decided since the original artwork I submitted to the Illustration Friday site wasn't officially done for this week's theme, I came up with one more "SPOTTED"-inspired artwork.

The first thing I thought of when I saw the new topic was this drawing I did last week.
This is a sketch I am working on for my website...
the reason for the letter "C" is because its part of my name.
It will become part of the main page of my site and once I get it painted I will repost it.
I don't have a title for it yet....I would love suggestions....he doesn't even have a name yet!!!
