Illustration Friday: Under The Sea

This Illo was done my senior year in college (2002) and it was part of my senior art show. I was obsessed with Clowns at the time and did a whole series of clowns doing crasy activities. This one was the biggest one I did. It was done in illustration board and acrylics. Took me about a month to complete. The actual size of this piece is approx. 21" x 33". The biggest illustration piece i have ever done. It was fun to paint that big and I will definitelly do it again sometime.

This is great! The colors are fantastic, and the interaction between the clowns is great. I could look at this picture forever.

These are crazy looking clowns do crazy things, all those little yellow fishies. Love it, the detail, color, weird idea, very sharp!
